Happy Holidays!!

Well... Guess what I got for Christmas???

5 Pounds!! WOOT! I SOOOOOOO happy!! *rolls eyes*

However, it can only be expected because I sat around and played Final Fantasy XI almost the entire time...

And here's the photo gallery:

First off, here's Mykal trying to get 100 kills with this SLOW-ASS Greatsword to become a Dark Night. I found it appropriate to be wearing my Santa Hat when delivering MASSIVE DAMAGE to the little bees.

Everyone in my LinkShell (a group of friends that work together to fight stuff) got together and took a Christmas picture (I'm sitting):

And then we did the conga:

Here's a pics of one of the Bastok Fountains:

Photo Shoot #2!!

Let me introduce you to my 'mule.' His name is Myk and he's from Windy. He is a Taru-Taru and one HELL of a magic user!!

Myk is a seller of many things and stores gear for Mykal and Kale. Here he is sitting near the Auction House in Windy trying to sell some wands that Mykal had just made.

It's Starlight Celebration time in Vana'diel and all of the cities are decorated.

Here's the Bastok Fountain:

So, I have mentioned the job of Summoner. You get to call forth Carbuncle to help you fight. Once you become more powerful, you can seek out elemental Avatars to help you too. Here's some summoning shots.

CM is staying put.

He decided not to apply for the job in LA.

We had our Christmas night on Friday. We hit Palamino and it was FANTASTIC!! I had a Pepperoni pizza (i was craving it) and CM had Lobster Ravioli. That was good too!

We opened gifts and he bought WAY too much for me, but it was fun just to exchange gifts with him. We watched 'Dazed and Confused' (one of his presents) then I had to get to bed because I had to work on Saturday.

We went out Saturday night. It was a quiet night, but I still heard one too many 'woof's directed at me. I had a GREAT time, but a crazy day at Target then crazy people at the bar... just got to be too much.

It was a good weekend until Sunday. I lost a very important connection. I was disappointed and it just colored my whole day. This isn't a good place for me to be, but I'm hoping the connection can be created again...

CM is looking...

For a new job, that is!!

He's got a friend who's talked him up for a National Student Leadership position, and CM has already talked with the guy who's got some pull with the organization. That's a good thing!

It'd be a really good job for him since he's been in Student Government in college and in High School (i think).

I think CM is down-playing it to me tho... Why? Because the position is located in Los Angeles.

More on this later...

X-mas with CM

Tonight we're celebrating our Christmas together. Dinner at Palamino, Gifts at his house, and then I'm gonna crash at his place and fight Niblets for a spot on the bed.

I'm VERY excited!!

Yes Dan, I am a geek!

And had I remembered to grab the OTHER screenshots I made last night, I'd have yet ANOTHER post with pictures of my game!!

Last night they started the Holiday missions and one of them gives you a Santa hat that you can wear!! I was too consumed in trying to make stuff and level up my woodworking skill.

I have other jobs too: White Mage (healer), Black Mage (offensive magic), Thief (ummm... a stealer guy), Summoner (fighting with a radioactive squirrell) , Ranger (Have bow, will kick your ass), Red Mage (de-buff KING) and still working on unlocking/developing the others...

I MUST HAVE THIS!!

Call me what you will, but I MUST own this:

YEAH!!

The building I work in FINALLY got the heat fixed... I'm not sitting in a 58 degree (and breezy) cube anymore!!

We have these wents along the windows and for the past few COLD days they've been blowing cold air!! I shouldn't have to wear a sweatshirt AND a down jacket to stay warm at work!

Now I am toasty! Thank you building people!!

GOOD GOD!!

Even our Humanitarian efforts are all effed up!!

COME ON, W!! Get a clue!! I'm beginning to wonder if he's trying to set a record for most number of people killed due to arrogance/ignorance while in his stay at the White House...

Blade: Trinity

Hmmm... It was a good, action packed kinda movie. Lots of gratuitous body shots of Dominic Purcell and Ryan Reynolds!! That made it more entertaining.

Some of the comedy and one-liners were AWESOME!! Lots of holes in the story tho...

It's not too bad a movie, but DON'T pay full price!

*Mental Note*

If I'm going to be walking to work this winter, I need to invest in some thermal undergear... My ass is STILL frozen from the walk in this morning.

And CM... I NEED those gloves!!

Movie Time!!

I've GOTTA see this movie!!

12 Days of Christmas for your True-love?

Think again!

Here's the cost break-down.

Random-ness

Sooooo... My friend 'Lil Mike (not CM, but another cutey) called and wrote me an e-mail last night and I got a good chuckle out of it!

He and his roommate watched Blade 3 (why they watched it at all will be the first question I ask them) and in the movie is Dominic Purcell. *SWOON*

Apparently, 'Lil Mikey's roommate became obsessed with D.P. and did a google search on him and guess what they found:

That's right!! They found me on Google!! I guess I should be careful what I say on here, huh?

I need to re-group with myself and figure this out.

Sanctuary

Now, this is a place I'd like to visit.

It's good to know there are congregations out there where we can feel safe.

Thanks for sharing the story STB!

Ramblings...

So, the Holiday Season is in full swing and Carlos and I celebrated by HUNTING down the movie 'The Muppet Christmas Carol'. Now, this should be a VERY easy movie to find during this time of year. However, this is not true. Target, Best Buy, Sam Goody, and Suncoast did not have it. Best Buy swore up and down they had it, but they didn't know where it was... I KNEW there was a reason I didn't like that store...

Borders books in Richfield is my new favorite merchant. They came to my aid and delivered to me my very own DVD copy of my movie, AND it was on sale!! I also bought a GREAT Celtic (not the basketball team) Christmas CD... Listening to it right now in fact...

So, Carlos and I watched it, ate Pepitos, and then I snuggled with my puppies. IT IS THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIE EVER!!! It makes me laugh, cry and yes, I even sang along!

I need to get my shopping done. Payday is Friday. Hmmm...

Work @ Target on Saturday was kinda weird... The morning was VERY slow. Almost eerie. Then it got CRAZY busy and the day FLEW by. I had made mention to Penny (the woman who works the electronics counter) that the game Tales Of Symphonia for the GameCube was at a REALLY low price for out 2-day sale. I mentioned I should but it just to have it and get a GameCube later... When I was leaving she said, 'Don't you think of even buying that game. Merry Christmas to Mikey.' She smiled big and so did I. She cracks me up!! Now I need a GameCube and I have to think of a present for her. Hmmm... She like P.F. Changs...

I think I miss my Playstation 2 more than my GameCube tho. I had so many COOL games to play on it, but the GameCube is more affordable. They also packaged the GC with a game and an extra controller this season... hmmm... Maybe I'll get some gift certificates for x-mas.

Anyway, you all have a great day and I'll amble some more later!

Turkey Day!

Thursday morning, the goodship 'Jazz' will be leaving South Minneapolis and headed for the lovely megalopolis of Zimmerman, MN. I'll be driving, Mikey will be DJ and Carlos will be the animal tamer. Yuna and Akima will be the animals. :-)

My sister is going to be throwing the T-day bash and I'm in charge of bringing the alcohol. This may sound like a bad thing, but I LOVE to get my Mom a little 'loopy'. She cracks me up. Besides, any other member of my family can WALK home to their respective houses within 5 minutes... It's like a Smith plantation but without the tobacco and fancy houses. We promote slavery, however most people refer our slaves as kids, nieces or nephews... *shrugs* To each, their own I guess. :-)

So, I'm fairly certain my sis will whip up the traditional turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, cranberry goo, and pumpkin pie. She'll throw in brussel sprouts or something so Terry (my brother-in-law) and I can bitch about how much we HATE them and that they taste like little balls of tin-foil. It's TRADITION!!

Sometimes, my Dad and Terry will protest the traditional turkey and deep fry one... I'm not sure I like this option, but I'll have regular turkey to satisfy me... And my own bowl of stuffing... And 2 pecan pies, one for me to eat then and one to take home and eat by myself. :-)

Can I tell you I just LOVE Thanksgiving??? Eat, play with the pups (there will be 6 there this year), nap, beat on the kids, eat again and then nap again... What could be better???

What are all y'all going?

Getting ready for snowboarding...

So, my sister's in-laws have spent the past 5-6 Thanksgivings with our family and they wanted to return the favor to my family. They took us out to Buca in Maple Grove. We were in the 'Pope' room and had an INCREDIBLE meal... Lots of wine too!! :-)

Afterward, Mikey and I headed over to Sportmart and looked at the snowboarding stuff. This winter we both want to learn how to snowboard and we're hoping it something we'll love to do!!

Many of the jackets we looked at didn't have liners... I really wanted to have one with a liner. I don't know why, but I like them... The ones with liners were up in the $300 range. We DID find some Columbia snowboarding pants on sale for about $60... That's $140 LESS than the ones we were looking at online. WOOT! I LOVE good deals!!

I had also heard that REI was having a winter sale so we scooted down there as well. I found an AWESOME pair of boots but the Voice of Reason (a.k.a. CM) mentioned that I should see if I like snowboarding first before buying boots. :-)

I also found a board that had Optimus Prime on it... I WANT THAT BOARD!! Even if I don't like snowboarding... :-)

We found some Columbia Parkas on sale for $160 but they had fleece liners and no snowguard (the thingy that keeps the snow from going up your back when you fall). We found another that was a bit more, but has a down liner and a snowguard. They were ALSO on sale so we made out like bandits!! I also got a pair of mitts because I have NO winter gloves.

Everything was on sale and this was some of the BEST deal shopping I've done in a while!! I'm so happy with my selections!!

SIDE NOTE: The little shots of 'goo' you can get from PowerBar are NASSSSS-TAY!! We each tried one and ewww... EWWWWWW!!

Now... The only thing I need for Snowboarding are goggles... That's it!! I'll rent the board, bindings, and boots and I'm hoping I fall in LOVE with it!!

My little babies!! Posted by Hello

I'm not sure who is more odd... me taking the picture or Carlos for having the Mickey ears with the Sorceror's Hat... Posted by Hello

Yumm #3 and #4...

Jeff Timmons... Yummy!

Marcus Blucas... *DROOL*

Random Thought/Observation #2

There is something profoundly hilarious about 7 old Asian women doing aerobics to the song 'Freak Out.'

I had to stop and watch for a little while after my work out.

*side note* giggling and stretching are difficult to do at the same time...

Random Thought/Observation #1

Boxer briefs must make my package look HUGE. I have caught over 30 people (men/women) blatently checking out the package in the past 2 days... (No my zipper wasn't open and I haven't wet myself recently...)

Friday Fun!!

Which Disney Princess are you?

Apparently I'm most like Jasmine... blah... I think i'm more like Mulan... Kicking ass and taking names!!
