What Video Game Character Are You? I am a Gauntlet Adventurer.I am a Gauntlet Adventurer.

I strive to improve my living conditions by hoarding gold, food, and sometimes keys and potions. I love adventure, fighting, and particularly winning - especially when there's a prize at stake. I occasionally get lost inside buildings and can't find the exit. I need food badly. What Video Game Character Are You?
Wow... not a whole lot to report today... hmmm... let's see, NR is sick so he's pretty much doped up on drugs... WOO HOO!

PBS and I haven't crossed paths in a few, so I don't know what's up with him...

Had softball last night and only a handfull of people showed up. We scrimmaged the Biohazard team and had a GREAT time. They were fun to chat and lay with. Roger was hitting well and I smacked the ball a few times. It was good!!

And let me tell ya, I get my hair cut and suddenly EVERYONE knows my name. Well, my nickname that is. 'Smitty!' 'Smitty' -- A bunch of them were trying to get my attention and stuff... SHEEEEEEEEESH!! I hope that logic carries over to this weekend!!

Tonight I'm going out to kiddie night at the Saloon, so we'll see how that goes. Maybe I'll have a few good stories for you tomorrow.

Later Peeps!

Well... my former partner has now created an online account in a chat environment where 'my people' hang out. He started this account on Sunday or Monday and has been online EVERY day. Last night, I didn't get scheduled at Target, so I was playing my game and chatting it up. I checked in with my friends about once and hour or so.

He was online for AT LEAST 4 hours...

When we were together he'd proclaim that he never did anything online, even chat... however, I caught him doing it like 7-8 times. He was VERY adamant that he didn't have enough time to do that sort of thing. Whatever. Now... looking back, I worked Target for 3 years while we were together... So every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday could have been a romping 'free-for-all' for him... *sigh*

DAMN, I hate it when these thoughts fill my head....

I finally got my tattoo. Look here!!

If you don't like the F-word... Don't finish reading this post...

Alright... I may just be over-reacting, but the NR is a fucking lazy bum!

For a week I have been reminding him that he needs to buy the next batch of toilet paper (since he can go through one-roll in a day) and everyday I have reminded him. Yesterday afternoon he said 'I'll get it tonight.' Do we have it yet?

We're on our last roll. Fucker...

Also last night: I came home from the gym and the stove-top was covered in some mysterious substance left-over from his cooking. I asked him to clean it up and he said 'I'll clean it up tonight.'

It's still dirty this morning. Fucker...

Last week: When we were cleaning up the living room I had asked if he would clean up the seeds and dirt that have been tracked through the front door (NR is the only one who uses it). And, I also asked if he could run the dust mop since I swept the stairs, downstairs, the deck and the kitchen.

It's still dirty. Fucker...

I am also done spending my money for items of community use. In other words, I'm tired of spending my cash on the NR's lazy ass. PBS is fine. I like PBS. NR is an idiot. He can't even fill up the water-filter pitcher after he uses it. I'm lucky that 3 out of 4 times he actually puts it back.

He also leaves cupboard doors open... I know it's not myself and PBS mostly uses my dishes. It's always the cupboard with his stoopid dishes in it.

We've also become a dumping ground for the neighbor's stuff... First the desk, now a headboard for a bed. It's sitting down in the basement.. I don't get it...

And apparently it's VERY difficult to remember to put a trash bag in the trash can after we take it out. It's easy to remember to throw shit in the trash can, but hard to notice there is not bag????? WTF??

FUCKER!!

*FUMING*

Sheesh... I think I need a nap...
WOW! What a CRAPPY weekend!!

7" of rain and more mud than anyone could want... Except maybe Akima.

Yes, it's true. The 'Pillow Princess' (a.k.a Akima) LOVES the mud! She's developed this new move off of the deck. When the ground is wet and mud can be found, she'll take off at full-speed and leap from the deck. Now, when her paws touch the ground, she converts into this little 'tuck-and-roll' move just in time to hit the mud puddle dead in the center. I don't think she could have had a better weekend. I have 3 muddy towels to prove it!

GREETINGS PEEPS!!

Pretty quiet on the home front last night. NR has a boy... And he's actually kinda cute... Who knew?!?

Anyway, Patty Bad-Shoulder (PBS) got all domestic last night and cooked up some spaghetti last night. He had the house smelling SUPER yummy. He offered some up to me but I had to pass. I'M GOING TO BE 200lbs by the end of June!!

He didn't count on me being home, because we usually have softball practice. I cancelled it last night due to the Severe Thunderstorm Warnings and I think Yuna prolly could have peed a bigger puddle than what was left by the rain... grrrrr...

This Sunday we have later games and against 2 fairly decent teams. I hope we can get another win. It'd sure help for morale. Now I just have to figure out who gets to sit out this time.

Now tell me if I'm wrong here... We have 15 people on the team and most Sundays all of them show up. To be fair, don't you think that everyone should have to sit instead of me and a couple others sitting out at least one game a weekend?

One of the players told me that I was supposed to let them know when they were going to sit out because they just wouldn't show that weekend. I don't believe that is fair either. If someone is sitting out, they need to be there and cheer on the team! That's my philosophy. Am I off base?

Lemme know!

Peace

WOOT WOOT!!

Smitty's look of death prevails once again!!

Story Time:

So, the NR calls yesterday around 2:00 in the afternoon and ask if he can lets the girls out to play in that back yard. 'It's SO beautiful out, I thought they might like it.'

I said it was ok as long as he watched them and as long as he picked up all his SHIT in the living room. He said 'Oh yeah... I'm cleaning it up right now!'

Let me draw you a picture:

I have a nice, little sofa/sectional I just bought and because he 'works from home' apparently it's become his 'office.' He had a blanket laid out on the sofa and it was covered with stoopid e-mail jokes, clothes (which I hope were clean), office supplies, and other miscellaneous crap... All spread out over my new sofa. Oh, HELL no!

By the way, the only reason he had that blanket down was so he could eat on the sofa even tho I asked him not to. I caught him 2 or three times sitting on the sofa eating his fucking take-out... Respect the ones you live with?? SCREW THAT!!

The Prologue:

Apparently, our landlord had commissioned the NR with sitting us all down and coming up with a cleaning schedule. For the past 2 weeks he asked me only twice about this cleaning thing. I told him when I was available to talk about it and he did NOTHING about it, so I thought I'd see how long it takes him to bring it up again. I guess getting laid is more important than keeping the landlord happy...

...I guess getting laid is more important than keeping the landlord happy...
Three days ago, I had made a taco bake (which was actually quite good!) that was in the fridge. I offered it up to my two roommates that night, but neither wanted any because of other plans. I decided I was going to bring the leftovers into work and share it with Cindi for Lunchy-lunch. When I got to work I realized that someone had consumed over half of what was left and figured out it was the NR. I called him in the morning (just to wake his sorry-ass up) and say 'In the future, please do not assume the invitation stands after the fact. You turn me down, you're done.' He got all pissy with me and said 'What about this cleaning schedule?? Mark (the landlord) is going to call today and I don't have any idea what to tell him.' I said, 'If Mark wants us to create a cleaning schedule he'd contact me and let me know this. Maybe this is a cleaning schedule for you.' He didn't like that too much... I got hung-up on...

WOO HOO! I WIN!

So, that night I came home from work and I offered to clean up my part of the mess in the living room if he does his... I removed my ONE box from the room and left him to his own devices(his cell phone).

Back to last night:

Needless to say it wasn't done when I got home and his idea of 'I'm working on it right now!' is to move his computer box from one end of the couch to the other.

Now, the NR is using my 2nd computer for his 'home office' and for some reason has a REALLY bizarre relationship with our next door neighbor. She's very sweet, but I'm not sure she's all there. The woman gave the NR one of her X-boxes, and more recently gave him a corner computer desk (which is now sitting in the living room, in pieces). By the way, the NR doesn't' even have a computer of his own... He's using my second one. Why would he need a computer desk if he doesn't own one???

Anyway:

So they get this desk moved over last night and still my couch is covered in his junk... I'm a little irritated at this point, but figured I'd give him until I go to bed. He continued to talk on the phone for 2 hours and watch TV... No cleaning...

So, on my way back in from letting the girls out for their last potty-break of the evening... I waited in the dining area and made a little noise so he knew I was there. (When the NR hears something going on in other parts of the house, he MUST go into that room to see what's going on) He came out while talking on the phone with someone and I shot him 'the look' and whispered 'You need to clean this shit up.' -- An walked upstairs.

Miraculously, when I came down this morning the sofa was cleared. WOO HOO! However, I did notice there was some sort of grit on my sofa... grrrr...

Now we just have to get the desk out of the way... One more 'look' should do it.

What can I say... It's a gift!!

Now that you have my new address... MAKE SURE YOU MAKE IT A FAVORITE!!
It's only fun to post on these things if people leave comments and lemt me know that people are checking it out VISIT OFTEN!! Leave COMMENTS!!
*BIG SIGH*

Men suck...

Why are relationships so freeking difficult?

Can I just have a cute boy fall in love with me and not have any baggage? Oh wait... I'm gay... I figure that's built-in baggage. Oh well... I'll settle for a cute boy who like dogs and video games! That'll work for me!

Lots of boys out there tho. Got 4 numbers in 2 days. That's a damn good ratio for not stepping foot into a bar. I think I can live with that.

Now if I can just get the number of the hottie at Target, I'll be set. :-) Not the Target I work at, mind you... It's the one downtown. He's about 5'1", 160lbs., cute as all hell, blonde... and he showed up at our softball games one sunday. I think he knew people from the opposing team, but he sure did stand up and pay attention when I came up to bat. :-) WOOT! I LOVE it when boys stare... it's when they talk to me that I have issues, I just keep thinking: Don't trip, DON'T TRIP!!

WOOT WOOT!!

OK... on another note... anyone know where the dog park is that's near the airport? I had a friend tell me about it but have failed miserably in trying to locate it. The girls need some soialization and I also got to figure out how to get them to stop jumping up. The NR has taught them to jump up on him for 'hugs' and now they just think it's part of the routine...

Well... Smitty is going in for his tattoo on Friday. The place I'm going is called Captive Elements and it's a nice place. I'm going on their walk-in only Friday and hoping to get Garrett. He's booked out until June 10th and is VERY talented. He aslo said he's going to try and match the price the other loser-guy quoted me...

Here's the story: I have a friend who said 'I had my first Tattoo paid for, so I'm going to help you get yours.' I JUMPED on the offer. So I set-up an appointment with Darrin on Sunday at 4pm... I drove all the way to Blaine to find out the fucker didn't show up for work. Didn't call or anything... So, I called the owner and he said they're just renting space from him and he doesn't have a whole lot of control over it.. I said it's cool and I want to get it done at your place, but I AM NOT getting it done by that guy...

SO... long story short: I'm getting a SUPER cool Tattoo on Friday!!

I had to share this with ya:

If a dog was the teacher you would learn stuff like:

When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.

Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.

Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.

When it’s in your best interest, practice obedience.

Let others know when they’ve invaded your territory.

Take naps.

Stretch before rising.

Run, romp, and play daily.

Thrive on attention and let people touch you.

Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.

On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.

On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.

When you’re happy, dance around and wag your entire body.

No matter how often you’re scolded, don’t buy into the guilt thing and pout... run right back and make friends.

Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.

Eat with gusto and enthusiasm. Stop when you have had enough.

Be loyal. Never pretend to be something you’re not.

If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.

When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.

Words and thoughts to live by.
YEAH!!!

Smitty's got a new place and a new look! Welcome to my new home!

Well... let's see... Pat moved in this past weekend. I'm SUPER glad to have someone else living in the house now. And I'm ALSO glad that he confirmed my suspicions that NR's mother is a FREAKSHOW!! We'll get along fine!

Yuna's Puppy Piaderma(sp?) is clearing up and they both a just SUPER full of energy. Adam and I took them for a walk Monday night around Lake Calhoun and I think Akima would have preferred to run the entire distance... I think I need to find a runner friend to take her out running... Lord knows I can't run to save my life... :-)

I seem to be running out of time in my days. Working two jobs, managing a softball team and handing the needs of two one-year-old black labs is beginning to take it's toll. I feel bad for my family, Adam and my friends. I feel I don't get a whole lot of extra time to spend with them. HELL! I'm prolly not getting enough attention to the pups, either! Grrrr... I NEED to win the lottery!

Anyway... I hope you like the new 'digs' and I'll be writing a bit more often...

Adios!
