I'm headed to Iowa with Mikey for a wedding in Des Moines. One of his friends/former roommates is getting married.
We're going to be staying at John's family's place and from how excited Mikey gets about it, we should have a good time. He's got everything planned out and I'm excited to get out of the city even if it's to the land of corn. This is our first trip out of town together and we'll see if we both come back alive!

Our Doggie Birthday Cake Recipe !
3 pounds ground turkey
2 eggs (or 3 egg whites)
1 ½ cup of oatmeal
Dash of garlic powder
¼ cup minced parsley
Mix ingredients. Mold into desired shape (dog bone, dog house, year of dog) Bake at 350 degrees from between 45 to 1 hr 15 min. (depending on shape and size). Remove and cool. Frosting can be low-fat cream cheese or peanut butter and you can decorate with small dog bones.
Sounds wonderful Mike J, but they'd have potty-issues for a WEEK after that!!
