The CEO of the company sent this out:
"The battle of life is, in most cases, fought uphill; and to win it without a struggle we're perhaps to win it without honor. If there were no difficulties there would be no success; if there were nothing to struggle for, there would be nothing to be achieved."

Umm, sorry but i hate that quote.
"The battle of life..."?? WTF! Life's NOT a battle...and who says you have to "win" it? Besides, how and when do you know if you won?
Sorry.
Thankfully, Joseph, This blog is a place for me to put the things I can identify with and place a few quotes with which I can see some truth about life.
'Battle' may be the wrong word to use, but if you looked past that word the second sentence explains his choice of words.
Life IS a 'battle.' Sometimes it feels like WWIII, sometimes it feels like a friendly game of Ultimate Frisbee. I live for the Ultimate Frisbee days!
IC...good luck with your battle.
